As we head into the night for a party this evening, we decided to share a cocktail recipe from The Beau-Rivage Palace, Lausanne, to celebrate Valentine’s at the hotel during the month of February. It’s delicious and easy to prepare at home:
Rose Petal Cocktail:
1 cl of Apricot schnaps
3,5cl of Sloe gin
1 cl of fresh lemon juice
Directions
Fill a shake with ice cubes
Add 1cl of apricot schnapps
Add 3,5 cl of Sloe gin
Add 1 cl of fresh lemon juice
Shake energetically during 10 seconds
Serve in a Martini glass
Position a lemon zest
Spray with abricot schnapps
Ready in an instant! We are shaking it…..or visit the BAR at the hotel and leave it to the wonderful barman. Coco Chanel, Charlie Chaplin, Noel Coward, The Kennedys, Gregory Peck and in more recent times (we can’t reveal the names but you never know who you might bump into!) We bumped into one of our favourite actors, who is a regular guest at the hotel…..
